Lakeshore Community Health Care became aware (1/29) that a few staff and patients have received calls that look like they are from LCHC, but are silent when answered or ask a question unrelated to LCHC. This is a form of Caller ID “spoofing,” where scammers disguise their identity to make it appear as though the call is from a trusted source. Learn more.

Lakeshore Community Health Care is taking proactive steps to address the alarming rise in suicide rates by implementing the evidence-based Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale. Starting in April, patients over the age of 10 will be asked a few screening questions during dental hygiene visits, with plans to incorporate the screening questions into all the services the health center provides by 2025.
